Lafond Winery has just released its first ever Sparkling Wine of Rosé. Winemaker Bruce McGuire chose just the right fruit at just the right sugar level from Burning Creek Ranch to create a delicious Sparkling Rosé perfect for the holiday season.
Bright & well balanced with pretty fruit notes of citrus & strawberry. Elegant bubbles balance the juicy elements, keeping it dry & not overly sweet.
Winemaker's Comments: The base wine was made at Santa Barbara Winery while disgorging and packaging was done at Rack & Riddle with state of the art equipment. It was aged for 16 months on the yeast in bottle before disgorging to add mid-palate texture. Sourced from Burning Creek Ranch, it is 52% Clone 777 and 48% Pommard Clone.
