For the second year we have hosted a BBQ for the managers of Long’s Drug Stores on the West Coast. Long’s has a long history of supporting small wineries and they have been particularly supportive of both our Santa Barbara Winery and Lafond Winery labels.
The event was held on a warm Thursday evening in our enclosed patio. The same evening as the start of the Coyote Fire in Santa Barbara, which at this writing is still burning its way accross the foothills. One of the casualties was David Lafond’s home, although not totally destroyed, suffered serious damage.
