Grape processing - four stations from top to bottom:
1. All leaves, green grapes and other extraneous material removed before reaching the stemmer. This will sometimes include rocks and pickers’ shears.
2. The stemmer. A rotating cylender forces grapes out through small apertures by centrifugal force while allowing the stems to exit from the cylender.
3. The grapes pass over a screen in a shaking table which drops and removes smaller material.
4. On the conveyor all stem jacks and anything else, (MOG - material other than grape), that made it through is removed.
